Citrine Cluster

from $25.00

Citrine crystals come in an array of yellow shades as well as orange/brown, but the favoured look at Venus in Scorpio Trading Co. is that of the earthy burnt amber or dirty yellow. The brownish tones and imperfections occurring in our citrine clusters look perfectly at-home in rustic spaces among their natural counterparts, such as: dried flowers, seashells, and aged timber. Dark cottagecore, western gothic, or eclectic beach-inspired spaces are some that align harmoniously with citrine’s earthen appearance. Citrine clusters also offer a gritty natural edge to modern/minimalistic spaces.

ABOUT CITRINE: Citrine is of the yellow variety of quartz and, when naturally occurring, gets most of its colour from the ferric iron within the host material. However, this is rare to come across and most citrine is actually heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz. Completely natural citrine is usually a pale shade of yellow, whereas, heat-treated citrine can occur in various shades including deep saturated yellow, honey brown, and burnt amber.

NATURAL ORIGIN: Brazil.

HANDLING AND CARE: Citrine ranks at 7 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness. Avoid prolonged exposure to intense light or strong heat. Clean regularly to prevent buildup of dirt and dust. It is safe to clean citrine with mild soapy, lukewarm tap/lake water using a soft brush. Dry with a soft cloth. Do not steam clean.

PLEASE NOTE: Some crystals may have sharp edges. Please handle with care.

NATURALLY UNIQUE: All Venus in Scorpio crystals are natural formations and may vary in colour, structure, and size from the website product imagery. All crystals are individually selected to suit the earthy-rustic aesthetic of Venus in Scorpio Trading Co. Please allow for impurities and imperfections as our crystal offerings are 100% raw, meaning they are completely natural and untreated (with the exception of those that are hollowed out for candles, selenite that has been cut into tower formations and citrine that gains its colour from heat treatment). Please contact us prior to purchase if you are in search of something specific.
